and could really use some suggestions for variations and modifications for our classes. He&#39;s a really driven city type and it&#39;s taken our whole first

			<description><![CDATA[ wow. i shared this with my classes this week. I have more husband/wife teams coming to class and the men do get discouraged. i can see them struggling.

this week we did supported ardha chandrasana and this one man loved it so much against the wall...his whole body was radiating happiness and everyone in class
recognized it.

he was so inspired he went to his mat and we came up in the pose together and he got it right away...

Slowly but surely his body is really opening up and his attitude is really softening. I hit upon the idea of introducing some arm balances and inversions to

			<description><![CDATA[ Hi Suzi, I&#39;ve seen lots of competitive swimmers that look just like that picture. I equate the term swayback with hyperlordosis - like a gymnast at the end
of her dismount...but not that severe. Rona or Gordon can probably say more, but I would say yoga would definitely help to bring her more into a neutral
posture alignment. She&#39;d need to work toward it gently, like every day or 5 or so times per week, I think. Not just one or two classes per week. Those

Thank you - that is what I was suspecting. I&#39;ll do some further research and see which way would be the best to guide her towards balance. In class, I
think guiding her to sit as straight as possible even if it means legs are bent would help to internalize and correct a seated posture... time will tell!

I am interested because I have a chronic pelvic instability which is currently showing up in pain and immobility of the SI-Joint. There is also inflammation
and trapped pain sensitve tissue.
