Hi, all! I am so glad to have found this forum, there is so much great information! I first discovered Yoga in college when I was obsessed with fitness. I was
drawn to the strength and flexibility poses, since I have always naturally been both. I quit practicing for a few years when I had my two boys, but began again
after the birth of my second son. It was the best thing I have ever done. I practice Ashtanga and Power Yoga, and I also meditate quite a bit. I now find that
the spiritual and meditative aspects of Yoga are what keep me interested. I mean, it's fun to put your leg behind your head, but it doesn't do much to
alter your inner world! Yoga helps me manage my anxiety and depression, which I have struggled with most of my life. I no longer take any medications and
haven't experienced depression in a long time. I look forward to posting and learning more about all of you! Thank you for your insights!
