Anyone else thinking about jumping on board???? One reminder...if you are, and you want to get a double room, it will be up to you to secure your roommate. In hindsight, Rona and I wish we had specified that CLEARLY ahead of time. There is no guarantee that there will be any "leftover" people, so to speak. If you have no roommate, then you will need to sign on for a single, and pay the extra fee. You cannot pay the double price and be in the room all by yourself. And that's not to deter anyone...my advice is to put a shout-out on the board if you need a roomie....that might spur a few folks into action. You never know who's always been dying to meet you. (I just started singing some Stones there mentally. )

We are working on getting the weekend firmed up and committee people secured. So far, we have this for a rough outline:

Thursday night - dinner hosted by Robyn and her cabinmates again (MUCHISIMAS GRACIAS! )

Friday day is mostly open, with people arriving at various times. If there are people in early enough, horse rides and canoeing are options, dependent on reaching the camp's required group number (pretty sure that is 6, at least for horses). Friday night after dinner will be our Meet-and-Greet/opening circle/Erichji welcome.

Sat. - late arrivals from Friday may wish to schedule horses and/or canoeing during the day. If anyone is interested in birding/early morning walking, I plan on doing that all 3 days (F, S, S), so come on along.

Rona and I are trying hard not to overplan, and leave space for folks to mingle and enjoy the surroundings, as much as possible. Our meeting room is always open, and exclusively ours. If you have any desire to do some asana, or gather in small groups there, feel free. Just let her and I know, so that if XY and Z are planning on doing some Thai massage at 10:00, they don't run into AB and C who think they are going in there at the same time to boogie down and blast some tunes. Late afternoon, Erich will lead a freeform class before dinner. After dinner, we will plan on a little socializing in our meeting room and to do the Angel Walk that evening. This will replace the bonfire. Last year, we missed a few folks who needed to leave early on Sunday, and we'd like to include everyone this time.

Sun. - Erich will do a closing talk/whatever his little (make that BIG) heart desires at 10:00-ish. And that's about the size of it.

As you know, Sandy, Darlene, and Susie are working on t-shirts that we can order from them. Karen is in charge of Transportation again. Suzanne will do her thing with Saturday night. We've sent some requests for help to a few other folks, and will keep you all up-to-date on that.

Whew......the job of asking people to help out is completed! Kay will take charge of activities - horses and canoes.

And Susie will do our room/altar decorations.

A gigantic THANK YOU!!!! to all who have agreed to assist in things going smoothly for us all.

I am so happy and grateful that people are stepping up and assisting. Please do not hesitate to get in there and offer your own unique services to any of these folks - Sandy, Darlene, Susie, Karen, Suzanne, or Kay, if that area they are in charge of interests you. Or even if it doesn't. For instance, Sandy et al. probably wouldn't mind a helper to pass out the t-shirts. or someone to tick people's names and sizes off their list. Or maybe Susie would love an extra set of hands to help set up the altar. Basically, Rona and I are trying to keep this OUR Gathering....meaning ALL who are coming. We are turning over the reins of each small section to the folks in charge, and are encouraging them to do things however they best decide. This is not about just Erich, or even just Rona and I....it's about each and every one of us coming together and having the most special time we can. So, let's do that! Please come forward and add your own spice to our gumbo.
