I've done some basic research and found that students with high blood pressure should stay away from inversions and twists. How do I adjust my vinyasa
flow class for this student? She is in her mid fifities and she is on medication for high bp. She got very nauseaus in my class last week. Help! She loves the
yoga class, and I don't want to scare her away from yoga! I have 16 people in my class, and I want to help her as much as possible. How do I teach this
class without having to take away twists and downdogs, and so many other poses that seem to be contraindicated for people with high BP?
Any help is much appreciated, I have her in class this afternoon.
Thanks so much.
Jill
