Sri, I actually found this thread before the Gathering and read the whole thing, it was hysterical, and sweet, and it really helped to relieve my anxiety about going to Camp Allen. I mean, how scary could these folks be? And now I am a part of it, which is just too great for words.

Yes, one of the first things Amy said to me in Texas was (paraphrasing here) "If I send you a photo, will you add me to the Christmas collage?"
I was looking at it anew this morning and noticed how Robyn and Sandy make the sweetest little "bookends" on each side. Amy, yes, I was thinking of moving the words "cool people" but changed my mind. I like how looks like you are wearing a funky furry strapless top. Susie |

hey scott, question? did you have extensions put on to make the dreads or is that all your own hair? how are they feeling and what was the motivation (for you) for adding dreads to your new look? it is a big transformation and really fun getting to share in it via pics and dialog with you here

LOL Dennis, you forgot that I started off as a martial artist, and there was a spell as an accountant in there before cop too hahaha
No extensions this time Rona, and my motivation was that my cousin braided my hair with extensions a few months ago and I loved it but wanted something more permanent. I lvoe the way that it feels having the hair away from my head... thoguh the dreads feel pretty yukky themselves right now, I can't wash them for the next few weeks and they're covered in wax urgh. My mum never really said anything, I think it's best cos the way they look right now isn't how they will be in a short while, apparently they fatten out over time which will be good cos they're a bit wispy right now. Interesting thoughts on the Samurai front Dennis, I have a long-standing affinity with that whole culture, and my Japanese friend Saachiyo says I very much have a Samurai spirit/attitude (and she comes from a Samurai family). Also, I have an idea for a big back tattoo that involves a lot of Samurai imagery - though my wife is trying to get me to promise no more tattoos... I htink she's on to a loser there hehehe Here's a pic when they were just finished before I tied them up, I think it's a bit silly , I kinda look like a dorky version of Snoop Dogg... also featuring the gorgeous Lola (with her 29 piercings and half dozen tattoos) who did the dreads for me... I called this one Bizzle My Schnizzle hahaha...
