The lights of the Entertainment World are a bit dimmer this evening with the passing of two celebrities, Farrah Fawcett of cancer and Michael Jackson this
afternoon of a heart attack. Regardless of whether you liked their music or acting they had an effect on our generation and will be missed. May Peace be with
them and their loved ones.

I have a fridge magnet of Farrah in that red bathing suit.....I bought it as a reminder of my now-deceased little brother, who had that poster up for FOREVER
AND A DAY in his room. A classic. And Michael Jackson...I don't even know where to start. I was teaching Jazzercise back in the days of all his hits, and I
could always count on the class getting all revved whever I played one of his songs. I remember I had this 6-year old piano student whose mom was taking her to
the MJ concert back in t '84 and she was totally gaga about it....SIX YEARS OLD!!!! He got the same hysterical reaction the Beatles did.....what a dancer,
what a singer!
RIP Farrah and Michael.

I just read that
Walter Cronkite died. The article at that link says
Cronkite was the broadcaster to whom the title "anchorman" was first applied, and he came so identified in that role that eventually his own name became the term for the job in other languages. (Swedish anchors are known as Kronkiters; In Holland, they are Cronkiters.)He was absolutely the best! Rest in peace, Uncle Walter.

we sold a 59 Les Paul junior some months ago it was an amazingly resilient piece considering all it had been through much as its inventor.
As long as there is an openness to ourselves and the universe we can fully be the evolved being we were always meant to be...
