OMG, I leave you people alone for a couple of days and what happens??

Randy invited a musician/healer over to the house to practice for a project they are starting. You have to picture this.. Harold is an approximately 6 ft, 5" African American guy ( the last 3 inches of height is a white afro). He comes over to our quiet suburban enclave bearing a giant gong, as well as giant digederoos and conch shells for some out-there music making.

First thing was, I was sitting out on our front step and Harold came up the walk with Randy. I knew who he was.. we have his CD, which is awesome, and I had checked out his website.. and Randy says, "This is Marianne".. and Harold says, "Have we met?" and I said, no.. and he said, "No, I mean.. have we MET?" And I did a double take and we both went, "Oh, yeah, I think so..", and laughed. We had.

We live next door to a young Russian couple ( whom I politcally incorrectly refer to as Boris and Natasha) and their 3 boxer dogs. The boxers went absolutely apeshit barking when Harold started lugging all of his stuff up the side walk to the music room door. I can't imagine what Boris and Natasha thought of it.

I followed them down to the music room cause I wanted to see all the cool stuff before they started rehearsing.. but then Harold just sat down and gave what amounted to a dharma talk to Randy and I which contained pretty much everything Erich has been talking about, interspersed with his experiences with the aborigines in Australia, visiting with the Dalai Lama in India, etc. At one point he turned to me and said, "You DO really get it, don't you, that we are all just being played by the breath of God , don't you? " and I said, "Oh, yeah, of course!" The whole thing was like that.

Then he took out this big giant conch shell and held it up, with the open side up, and said, "This is just filled with unconditional love, you know?" and asked me to go over and stand in front of a picture we have of HH in our music room ( coincidentally, or not, this was framed pencil drawing that our son Walter drew, that Randy had just brought home from his office this week). He had me stand in tadasana ( although he didn't call it that) , focus on the picture, and take some deep breaths. Then he blew into the conch shell.. it had this really loud, low, picthced sound and incredible vibration when he did it.. and directed the sound all along my spine, low back, up into my heart center. He can do circular breathing so this lasted for what seemed like 1 - 2 mintues. Then he said to Randy , "Look at her face, see? It looks like she had an energy facial". Randy will have to tell you what I looked like.. all I know is, half an hour later, I had to go to bed because I was in a seriously altered state. Way cool. When Randy came up later.. he was all wired up 'cause they got into some chi gong stuff.. he could not wake me up for anything.
