One of my new favorite openings:
1. from vajrasana: inhale one arm up and side stretch, then do the other side (x2); twist to both sides (x2); place your hands on your knees and do a handful of dog/cat tilts/stretches
2. interlace fingers behind back and lower to childs pose
3. come into dog (optional: raise one or the other leg)
4. dog
5. inhale up to table and dog/cat tilts/stretches
5a. bring one knee to your forehead and inhale leg long, head up. Repeat a handful of times.
5b. With your leg extended come onto your forearms and move your extended leg sideways (move the leg in, as opposed to out away from you) for a hip stretch
6. come back to dog and repeat dog/cat (#5) sequence on other side
7. childs pose
8. interlace fingers behind back and roll up
9. Repeat #1-- vajrasana: side stretch (x2), twist (x2), dog/cat tilts
Again, hope this makes sense! kelly
