I saw The Two Towers recently too. Not bad, the slimy guy was great. The battle at the end was a blood bath, but there was nothing ...ummmm...surprising about the movie. I loved the tree guys too. He is a good director, I'll bet the last installment is really good. Usually if there is to be a slow part it is in the second act, so considering that was number two of the trilogy makes sense. He still did a good job.
Last year I really liked "All Or Nothing" by Mike Leigh. Heavy and deep, very slice of life, but with some realistic hope at the end.
Anybody have any recomendations? I'd like to see Frida and Gangs Of New York, there is a lot out there now.
I did a Jungian personality test yesterday, turns out I'm an artisit type through and through. So know wonder I've felt the urge to create again, no wonder my job at the print shop feels stifling, I always knew it was just to serve a purpose for its' time, no wonder just acting was not cutting it either. I've got some thinking/intuiting/Asking For Guidance to do. I need to ...?? I'll ask and see what the answer is, though I sense it is make a film.
