I read in Men's Health that people who kept a daily journal of 5 things they were grateful for showed such remarkable improvement in mood that their spouses commented on it. Which is real improvement!
So, I thought we could share here. |

It's raining. The temperature is above zero. I have the freedom to be lazy this morning. I'm teaching this afternoon. Angela |

That there is always sunshine after rain (to steal a quote from one of my very favorite songs "Why Worry" by Dire Straits)
My sister, who has become one of my best friends as we've grown older. My brother, who was my best friend when we were younger. This board...the support, the laughs, the one thing I know is going to be there day after day. My new yoga room! |

This is such a great idea
I am grateful : for recovering my health for a husband always generous with his love and support for my kids who light up my life for the never-ending offers of help from my in-laws and today a special thanks to my cleaning lady, Luz (means Light in Portuguese) who brings her sunny smile into our house every morning. |

What wonderful lists. Feeling bad today what with the war and the poorly ponies and other things - but this prompted me to stop and look for the good - and you know its all still there.
Today I'm thankful for: Sunshine. Fresh Air. Our adoring unquestoning labrador. My lovely home. My senses (even though some of them are working overtime and are toooo sensitive right now) |

today's gratitude list:
1. that my aging kitty, with a liver that's going and who has lost 1 and 1/2 pounds in 5 months(!), is eating voraciously this morning 2. that said kitty still likes to sneak in and sleep with me at night 3. and still gives me kisses to wake up (gotta take 'em from whoever I can!) 4. the sound of the recycling trucks coming to pick up my piles of felled oak tree limbs 5. my brother, my savior, my man-who-does-husband-type-hard-labor when it's just too much for me, who came over yesterday and sawed up the limbs, and dragged them out to the curb....after he cut them all down last week, without me even asking....just showed up and did it because he saw it needed to be done 6. (had to sneak a 6th one in)....most especially, for his wife, who shares him so graciously with me for these household jobs I'm a lucky woman! Susan |

i just stumbled over here! What a wonderful idea this is! I know the same idea is in the Simple Abundance book. Namaste!
1) my wonderful soul-sister/best friend who picked me up this morning to bring me to work because my car officially died on Sunday (busted head gasket)! 2) the beautiful sunshine and lovely spring morn that is upon us today -- I HATE WINTER! LOL! 3) my morning yoga practice -- nothing wakes me as well as 40 minutes of asanas! 4) My life-partner, my soul-mate, my lover -- Namaste 5) This wonderful board full of knowledgable, compassionate yogis -- so glad I found y'all last week! Om Shanti taz |
