Erich played "Rainbow" by Jack Johnson and G. Love in Dallas last November. I fell in love with the song, and after some searching, found G. Love and Special Sauce's CD "Lemonade". (Incidentally, I have since played much of their music and Jack Johnson's music in my yoga classes, "Holes to Heaven" being one of my favorites.) I also fell in love with the song "Beautiful". So, one night goofing around online, I found G. Love playing in Dallas, bought tickets, and went last weekend. Tristan Prettyman opened for G. Love, but I had no idea she was the person who sung the duet "Beautiful" with G. Love. I talked to the drummer for Tristan on a beer run and almost asked if Tristan would sing Beautiful with G, but thought he would think I was a dork, so I didn't. Turns out, that is who actually sings the song with him! What a cool thing? FINALLY, I searched Tristan's music b/c I dug her (she's a surfer-full circle here with Erich, IMO) and found out she will be playing in concert in Austin right down the street from where I'm stayin in Austin this coming April for a yoga training!!!! How cool is that? I will so be there! So, is that a snow globe?

IMO I would say yeah, definate snow globe!
 Awesome about April, and if you don't mind me saying, in the future just gather you cajones and
don't worry about looking like a "dork", just go for it; you might end up on stage too and having the time of your life!!

I'm getting my 200 with YogaFit. They are not the only source of my training, but 4 yrs ago I started with them, so I will finish my 200 with them. I work
at a gym, and they are wonderful for that environmnet as far as safety and alignment issues with the revolving door of gym members, kwim? In fact, YF was
founded for use in gyms specifically. It's funny though, even though I started my practice in gyms, I now prefer practicing in studios. I've come to
feel that exposing people to yoga in gyms is a springboard for a deeper practice down the road, so I countinue to happily teach in gyms. I know you didn't
ask for a long reply, but there have been times that I've had people really turn their noses up at YF and I don't want to be judged here!!!!
