yes, just what you said, a sticky topic view only thread right here in the 'questions for Erich' forum . . . does that sound right? I was thinking a view only thread would keep it smooth, and easier for people to understand and access, who aren't here as regular as we are.. And then a link in there to this thread for the talking.. I've already linked to the audio clips page from my website soo kewl! |

Hi Heidi, sorry about that, there were some technical difficulties while trying to get the thread to "read only" and the links to work. It turned out
that Rona's puter doesn't read the wysiwyg either, and it took awhile to figure to switch to bbcode. A bitty bit of frustration was reached while
getting it worked through and we were just trying to get it done and stuck up there quick. I'm totally giggling about it. But, again, apologies for just
whipping through. It's there now though! And I think Erich is gonna put a ton more in there..

hi heidi,
... i didn't respond because that thread is read/listen only and i was in the midst of both creating it properly and also FIXING it RIGHT at that time ! that particular thread (as i posted a couple of posts above) is read/listen only so it'll always be easy access and uncluttered so yes; that's why your post about the links not working got deleted we were in the midst of MAKING it functional when you posted 
it was alllllllllll in progress and hadn't yet been 'closed' for posting yet so it could be properly edited to work ok? all's well thank you for noticing the non-working links though, appreciated; we were on it!/in it/making it work. thanks love,

Help!
I can't hear anything at all  I even tried one of our other pcs which uses Windows
- my laptop uses moxilla, ubuntu and something else (I've temporarily forgotten the name) - and still I hear nothing although the little button thing moves
along.

Not sure what the issue is, but I have Linux based systems that can play that kind of audio...
Try loading Kaffiene maybe. That is a pretty good product and it, like all open source software, is free... Kaffiene If that doesn't work, there are other options too. Let me know and I will go into geek mode for you.
