i've done some classes like you've spoken about above before
and it's a really nice situation

you get to save the people time by going to them
and you get to teach on your own (no profit sharing)

i figure when people go to a yoga class (esp here and up in SF)
they pay anywhere between a low of maybe 10 bucks and i'm sure upwards of 20/ class

you can have a drop in fee and/or have a session rate
like if someone only comes in for one class it might be more (or not)

for instance, you can charge somewhere (your choice) between 8-12/class or more or less (up to you)
and have people pre-pay for a certain # of weeks
...this guarantees that you get paid for showing up (important!)

other people i know have a flat fee they want to make / hr no matter how many people come and so they
just divide that fee up between the people that come

i prefer to just have a flat rate / person
and to have them (if possible) prepay for 4- 6 weeks so i know i'm getting paid if they make it or not

it takes time to GO the the location , set up , etc

it's fun
