She points out that most people of caucasian background can't handle dairy well, yet we continue to force it on ourselves because that's what's advertised heavily.. Could you handle goat milks and cheeses? Just another thing to think about I guess. It helped me to look into what meats are local, obviously eating salmon out here in the high desert is not a local food, and I think my body can understand that, and I don't eat meat here since I don't eat beef. If I go somewhere that fish is found local and fresh, then by all means I eat that. It's eating locally, and it's better for my body.
