Posts: 1104 (07/25/09 16:34:03) Reply Quote More My Recent Posts Message Me Connection Blocking Invite Ignore User's Posts	I'm still in awe of the week at Blacktail with Richard Miller...no, awe is not quite right, as he is down to earth, so real, so approachable, so generous, so...brilliant! Perfect timing for me, re-touching base with yoga nidra, pranayama, meditation techniques and kriyas, as asana is off my landscape for awhile... Funny, I've been studying with Erich and with Rod Stryker for some years now, and now meeting Richard...in some ways his practices have elements of both...I just love this man. So very, very knowledgeable and yet "regular guy." So sweet. We hope to have him back next year. The Blacktail is perfect for him, as it is very, very "retreat" setting, and what with the working horses, and he rides, and his wife is a true rider... I'll share more, once I've touched down in everyday life a bit more! lovelove, Babs P.s., yes, Feathered Pipe has scholarships, funded by raffle tickets toward full/half workshops...those are on sale now for next year!

Say, I'm still savoring slinking through freeform yoga with your playlists, and have compiled one for myself for this summer... and a song I just swoon over is in it, and I think you'll love it if you don't know it... an Icelandic musical group... Sigur Rós, the song is Samskeyti (sort sounds Sanskrit, doesn't it?)... It is one of those ethereal treats... lovelove, Babs

Really beautiful. I've got tears in my eyes, love you all soooo much!! When I first started looking around the board in earnest (toying with the idea of going to Camp Allen), I came across a picture of a bunch of women standing in a kitchen (can't remember whose album or what thread). I remember thinking, "They look just like me!" I had no idea just how right I was...I was looking at my sisters. MIS BABES RULE!!!
