Beautiful! Thank you!
Here are the lyrics: I AM Before the body, before the story, before the name Beyond the mind's attempt to find or explain Before the breath, beyond the sense of pleasure or of pain And after death, and after death, I am Within the heart, the whole and part of everything I see Behind the eyes, beyond disguise, reflecting me At the silent core, and yet before phenomena began And after it, and after it, I am Many differences separate us on the surface, yes. But I cannot find a boundary in consciousness And when you ask me, where does awareness begin and does it end I have to say, I have to say I've always been Within the body, without the body, not subject to changing moods or states of health or points of view Without needs, before the deeds and the monuments of man And after them, and after them, I am Many differences separate us on the surface, yes. But I cannot find a boundary in consciousness And when you ask me, where does awareness begin and does it end I have to say, I have to say I've always been At the silent core, and yet before phenomena began And after it, and after it, I am |

Thanks Sanna and Susie.
Lovely voice and lyrics to begin the day. From the biography page of her website ... "Kirtana (pronounced Keer-tahna, from the Sanskrit root: kirtan, meaning 'that which is worthy of uttering')"

We do not need to be the same, or think the same But we can hold hands as fellow travelers in this life. |

When I listen to this strong native American music, it feels like I I could stand in Trikonasana and warriors forever. I hope that we can inspire each other and share some music for yoga practice. Love to all...have a nice day.. Sanne

Love that Native American Music Video. All of it is good, but check the section from 1:22 to 1:52, the foot movements and the head movements. Excellent!
Here's something else that I like, it is very beautiful. Murcof, Truffaz, Singh @ Montreux

Hi Sanna,
Glad you like it! The first time I heard Stormy Monday, when I was a kid, it was sung by Lou Rawls. Stormy Monday --- Lou Rawls & Stanley Turrentine and another version by Eva Cassidy There are a few other threads here where links to music get posted. This one gets the most activity. Lots of music here.

The Circle Game
- Joni Mitchell Yesterday a child came out to wonder Caught a dragonfly inside a jar Fearful when the sky was full of thunder And tearful at the falling of a star And the seasons they go round and round And the painted ponies go up and down We're captive on the carousel of time We can't return we can only look behind From where we came And go round and round and round In the circle game Then the child moved ten times round the seasons Skated over ten clear frozen streams Words like, when you're older, must appease him And promises of someday make his dreams And the seasons they go round and round And the painted ponies go up and down We're captive on the carousel of time We can't return we can only look behind From where we came And go round and round and round In the circle game. Sixteen Springs and sixteen Summers gone now Cartwheels turn to car wheels thru the town And they tell him Take your time, it won't be long now Till you drag your feet to slow the circles down And the seasons they go round and round And the painted ponies go up and down We're captive on the carousel of time We can't return we can only look behind From where we came And go round and round and round In the circle game So the years spin by and now the boy is twenty Though his dreams have lost some grandeur Coming true There'll be new dreams, maybe better dreams and plenty Before the last revolving year is through And the seasons they go round and round And the painted ponies go up and down We're captive on the carousel of time We can't return, we can only look behind From where we came And go round and round and round In the circle game
