Hi Rona
The giant dice range was invented by a friend of mine who is expanding his business with the production of educational toys. The yoga dice was his latest creative idea (he's an amazing man: he does yoga and chi kung, surfs, and is an environmental warrior with a sustainable business). When he sought my advice on what poses to include on the yoga dice, I suggested ones with names and shapes that little kids could relate to (camel, butterfly, tree, warrior etc) then gave him some quick stick drawings to illustrate what they looked like. Within a day, his designers turned my silly stick drawings into the lovely figures that are now printed on three different giant dice. My background? a lifetime of yoga practice and spiritual enquiry. I taught both Iyengar and Ashtanga Vinyasa classes for many years but took a break from teaching and haven't returned.
